How to Export a Claim Kit

Claim Kit packages your incident footage, GPS data, and notes into a single ZIP file. You choose exactly what is included before sharing with your insurer, police, or solicitor.

Help with: How do I export a Claim Kit?

Step-by-step

  1. Open the Evidence tab

Tap the Evidence tab at the bottom to see your saved incidents.

  2. Tap "Claim Kit" on your incident

Find the incident you want to share and tap the Claim Kit button on its row.

  3. Choose a recipient

Use the "Send to" picker: Insurer, Police, Rideshare, Solicitor, or Personal. This sets default field toggles — you can override any of them.

  4. Review the data toggles

Check each toggle: GPS, speed, other-party contact, witness contact, damage photos, written account. Only share what you intend to.

  5. Tap "Export Package"

Tap Export Package. Hawk builds a ZIP and opens the iOS share sheet so you can send it by email, AirDrop, or any app.

Common questions

Does Hawk upload my footage?

No — Hawk generates the ZIP on your device and opens the iOS share sheet. Nothing is uploaded.

Will my insurer accept this?

Hawk does not guarantee acceptance — the Claim Kit gives you a well-organised evidence bundle, but acceptance depends on the recipient.
