Measure the journey.
Improve the experience.

Taste London Tours had its own booking platform. MRVL's work focused on the surrounding systems: trustworthy analytics, booking attribution, visitor confidence and clearer paths for different audiences.

01 / CONTEXT

The booking engine
already worked.

The brief was not to replace Taste London's booking system. The challenge was to understand which visits became bookings, create useful pages for distinct groups of travellers, and give guests reasons to feel confident before committing.

The business runs small-group walking and cycling food tours across London. Its customised booking journey needed measurement that respected visitor consent and carried useful attribution all the way through payment.

02 / THE WORK

Connect what
happens next.

01

Consent first

GA4 analytics is gated behind explicit cookie consent, aligning measurement with the site's PECR approach.

02

Booking attribution

Campaign and referrer information passes from the visitor journey through the booking form, Stripe checkout metadata and into the booking record.

03

Trust and reviews

TripAdvisor context on the homepage and a post-tour review email connect the customer experience to reputation.

04

Audience-specific pages

Dedicated corporate, halal and family pages give each audience an appropriate starting point, with their own metadata and internal links.

05

Mobile booking and access

A sticky booking action, colour contrast and ARIA refinements make important journeys easier to use on a phone and with assistive technology.

03 / PUBLISHED EVIDENCE

Checked in production.
Not inferred.

These are verification notes from the previously published MRVL case study, not newly measured results or claims of sales growth.

01 / CONSENTAnalytics gated

GA4 initialises only after explicit visitor consent.

02 / ATTRIBUTIONStripe to booking

A production booking was used to check campaign values through to the booking record.

03 / ACCESSIBILITY92 to 96

Published Lighthouse Accessibility comparison on desktop and mobile.

04 / CONTENTThree audience pages

Corporate, halal and family tour pages live with their own metadata.
